Required Documents For France Spouse Visa 

You must gather the following documents as per France Spouse visa requirements: 

APPLICATION FORM: Fulfilled and signed 

VALID PASSPORT: Issued within 10 years and valid for at least three months beyond departure. Make sure your passport has two blank pages. 

Older passports with visa on them (If any)

RECENT PHOTOGRAPHS: Recent passport size photos taken within the last three months. Make sure to go through the photo requirements for the Schengen visa. 

TRIP ITINERARY: Including dates and flight numbers specifying entry & exit from Schengen country. 

TRAVEL INSURANCE: A document confirming the health coverage during the stay in Schengen country. Your coverage must be at least 30,000 euros needed for medical emergencies. 

FINANCIAL PROOF: Evidence showcasing you have sufficient financial support throughout your stay. This can be:

• Bank statement: Not older than three months

• Sponsorship letter: Confirming that another person is sponsoring your trip financially. Must be given along with a bank statement.

ACCOMMODATION PROOF: Accommodation proof such a hotel reservation, rental agreement, private accommodation etc. 

COVER LETTER: A written agreement including all your travel information like visiting dates, stay duration etc. 

MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE: 

• Spouse’s valid passport
• Civil marriage certificate in English or French
• Three months salary slip of Spouse
• Letter from spouse’s employer

BRP (British residence Permit): Original as well as copy

Validity of France Spouse Visa 

France Spouse visa is valid for three months within 180 days. Once the visa expires, you cannot stay in the country any longer and have to depart. Based on your stay requirements, you can apply for a short stay or long stay and get it with us.
